Veronique Old Vine Grenache Mataro Shiraz 2008 $228.00 per case ($19.00 per bottle) Grenache Mataro Shiraz sourced from three vineyards…the Grenache planted in 1940 is from their Shiraz grower in Angaston. A very aromatic Grenache from high altitude that lies upon a steep hard iron stone base. The Mataro is from Nuriootpa planted in 1914 on an alluvial drain and is a mighty site that bears searing flavours of extraordinary length and finally the Shiraz is sourced from the Veronique Shiraz sites that adds power and structure.
